Since 2021, the annual European Defence & Security Conference (EDSC) has provided an independent forum for discussions on the future of Europe’s defence and security. The event is dedicated to facilitating in-depth exchanges on the strategic, technological, and industrial challenges of defence cooperation in Europe.
The Conference’s mission is to serve as the annual platform for dialogue among key European defence and security stakeholders. Our objective is to provide a setting that encourages and facilitates open and meaningful exchanges, supporting Europe’s goal of achieving greater strategic independence and reinforcing its defence capabilities.
The EDSC is committed to promoting a comprehensive understanding and collaboration across Europe’s political and industrial landscape. It strives for an inclusive approach that ensures a balanced representation across the Union, emphasising the importance of a united and effective European security and defence policy.

Building on the success of the first three editions, the 4th European Defence and Security Conference arrives at a critical juncture, coinciding with the European Parliament elections and the appointment of a new European Commission.
